Hello from OHIO!

Hi Everyone!

I just adopted a 3 month old shelter pup, a Boxer mix female I named Chesney. She and her littermates were dropped off outside the shelter with no info from the owner, but the entire litter looked very much like Boxers. I've had Chesney about a month now, and I think she is probably a Boxer/Lab mix. Chesney joins my family of Jordan, a female Brindle boxer, and Rudy a Boxer/Rott rescue I fostered 8 years ago. You see how fostering worked out for me? He is a great dog, wouldn't trade him for anything. Obviously I have a love of the unique Boxer mixes, but still love the Boxer breed very much! My first Boxer passed away in 2005 at age 9, and was such a great dog, I've loved this breed ever since. Look forward to seeing all the pictures of everyone's Boxers here on BoxerRepublic!

Aww, your puppy Chesney is such a cutie! Love the wrinkled brow! And your other two pups are just beautiful!

thanks everyone! Labs and Boxers each have so many great qualities, I think she may have the best of both. She's more mellow than the typical Boxer pup, but she's only 4 months old. Can't wait to see what the next year has in store as she develops. Possibly she will turn into "devil puppy" and eat the couch tomorrow. But so far so good! :shock

Love the pics. Rescues make the best pets. I have a devil dog, the only one who is NOT a rescue-go figure. She has eaten the couch. Look forward to getting to know you and your babies. :dogdancer

Lord help me, but there is just NOTHING in this world cuter than a boxer face. I ADORE Jordan's smooshy face and underbite. LOL Soooooooooo cute! Welcome to BR. You'll like it here! :BR1
