I usually am not a negative nellie, BUT.........it is freaking hot here in Virginia. Temps this week will be in the 100's thru Sunday:( I teach two days a week at All Dog. I teach inside with no A/C, in a warehouse. Can you say 110 degress plus? OMG! Anyway, owner will not cancel classes, because people keep coming. Seriously? I did not bring Juneau or Bristol to classes last week. CLUE: If the instructor is NOT bringing her dogs because of the heat, WHY are you bringing yours? I had several students ask me where my dogs were and I told them due to the heat I was not bringing them...HINT! Anway, looking forward to another week of sweating off a few pounds while teaching idiots how to train their dogs in agility. Thanks for listening. I really do not like people sometimes.

I'm sorry, but that is ridiculous! I certainly wouldn't be bringing my dogs in. If I would be miserable attending, then I wouldn't subject my pups to that kind of heat either! Some of the members should complain for sure!

Hope things cool down for all of us, but especially for your classes!

Okay, so last night it was 100 degress here! I had six people in my level 1 class! Seriously people!!! :MAD Tonight, I am not teaching and am taking a break. We are taking the dogs down to see Chuck's grandma on the river. Gonna be a 100 again today. I do teach tomorrow night and pray no one shows. Only a matter of time until a person or a dog has a heat related issue. People really do not have any common sense.

that seriously doesn't make any sense. Surely the pups can't work out for very long on the equipment. You're right. People are crazy. :Silly

I will hardly walk JAAACK if it is past 80 degrees--we both end up melted like butter. He pants and pants and pants and our Lab can not tollerate the heat any better--she just lays and pants so rapidly I am nervous for her some times. Training is important but not THAT important it can not wait until a cooler day.
