Oliver,
I can't even begin to tell you what a good friend you were. I remember
when you were just a tiny little puppy eating everything in the house from
my shoes to raw potatoes. It was just the two of us. You were such a sweet
puppy. As you grew you became my protector and best friend. I loved how you
always ran and got a toy and met me at
the door with your butt beaning and nub wagging.
As you grew older, you became a wonderful old gentleman. Everyone loved you
so much. Grandma, Granny, Grandpa and Daddy all thought you were the best
boxer that ever lived, and you were. I'm so sorry that you got so sick. You
were such a good boy through it all. I know you are happy and pain free now
and that you are doing what you loved best; playing, running, chasing
birds. I hope there is a giant water hose for you to play with at The
Rainbow Bridge. There are lots of friends there for you to play with and
enjoy. And there are lots of boney-bones for you to chew.
Please remember me and Daddy. Someday we'll meet again, but in the mean time
remember that we love you and miss you so much. You will always be my
special boy.
We love you,
Mommy, Daddy, Lucy and Gunther |
